About Global Exteriors Group

Commercial flat roofs are the whole business.

We're a dedicated commercial low-slope contractor serving New England, run by an owner with 20 years on these roofs. Single-ply membrane, flat-roof detailing, and the buildings that carry them — that is what we do every day.

The Owner

Freddie Arboleda

Owner · 20 years in commercial roofing

Freddie Arboleda has spent 20 years on New England commercial flat roofs — first in the field, then running the work. He has installed and torn off every low-slope system we offer, on the same kinds of buildings our customers own: retail plazas, warehouses, restaurants, office buildings, and multifamily.

That experience is what you are actually buying. He walks the roof, writes the spec, and stays reachable through the job. When something unexpected turns up under the membrane — and on an older roof, something usually does — the decision about how to handle it gets made by someone who has seen it before.

Global Exteriors Group is the commercial company he built around that work.

Who We Are

A contractor for one kind of roof.

Commercial flat roofs fail differently than the pitched roofs on a house, they’re built differently, and the people who own them buy differently. Global Exteriors Group exists to serve that market specifically — building owners, facility managers, property managers, and the general contractors who bring us onto their projects.

That focus is the point. It means the crew on your roof works with single-ply membrane and low-slope detailing every day, and it means the person walking your roof with you is thinking about drainage, seams, and tenant impact — not steep-slope shingles. Across New England, it’s the only kind of roof we do.

Materials & Spec

What we’ll put on your building.

Two roofs can look identical from the parking lot and be a decade apart in service life. The difference is in the assembly and the details, so that is where we hold the line.

The spec is written to the building

Membrane, insulation, and attachment get chosen for the deck, the exposure, and what runs across the roof — not defaulted to whatever is cheapest to buy that month.

We don't economize on the details

Roofs almost never fail in the middle of the field. They fail at drains, flashings, terminations, and penetrations. Those are the last places to save money and the first place a low bid usually takes it.

Installed to manufacturer specification

Carlisle certification means the assembly goes on the way the manufacturer requires. That is also the only way your roof qualifies for a manufacturer-backed system warranty.

If a cheaper path changes the outcome, we say so

There are real ways to spend less on a roof, and we will show you them. We will also tell you plainly which ones cost you years, so the trade is yours to make with the numbers in front of you.

Scope

What we do — and what we don’t.

Knowing where we do and don’t go saves everyone a mismatched conversation, so here it is up front.

What We Do

Commercial flat & low-slope roofs

TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up, and protective coatings — the full range of low-slope systems, matched to the building.

Repair, recover, and replacement

The honest range of answers for a roof you already own, from a targeted repair to a full tear-off when the numbers justify it.

Preventive maintenance & inspections

Scheduled care and documented condition reporting that stretch the life of the roof and keep surprises off your budget.

Emergency response

When a roof fails in a storm, we mobilize — because active water damage doesn't wait for business hours.

What We Don’t

No residential roofing

Flat and low-slope commercial systems only. Steep-slope shingle work sits with a different company entirely.

No state or government contracts

We stay in the private commercial market, where the consultative relationship is the whole model.

No prevailing-wage / Davis-Bacon work

Public-works wage projects aren't our lane. Saying so up front saves everyone a mismatched conversation.

No new construction

We work on the buildings that already exist — repair, recover, and replacement, not ground-up development.

How We Work

Walk the roof, then write the bid.

We get on your roof, document what we find in photographs, and price repair, recover, and replace side by side with the reasoning behind each. Every job ends with a photo-documented closeout report you keep for your records.

Operational Strength

Certified, insured, bonded, and safe.

The four things a facility manager checks before a contractor makes the shortlist. We can document every one of them on request.

Manufacturer-certified installation

Carlisle Certified, which is what makes the systems we install eligible for a manufacturer-backed system warranty on the assembly.

Fully insured & bonded

We carry the required commercial general liability and workers' comp limits and the bonding capacity for the projects we take on.

OSHA-compliant operations

Full safety compliance on every job site — for our crew, your tenants, and everyone who has to be near the work.

Low overhead, spent on the roof

We are large enough to carry a full re-roof and lean enough that we are not funding a regional sales organization out of your contract. More of what you pay ends up in the assembly.
